The Plumbing Level 2 Diploma is the ideal progression route from the Level 1 qualification and is also available to new entrants with basic and prior knowledge of the industry. Everything in this course is about developing the more advanced skills you’ll need to be a success in the industry. That means you’ll be looking at more advanced techniques, and working on more complicated projects in our specialist workshop facilities. What will I learn? • Health and Safety • Hot Water • Cold Water • Sanitation • Central Heating
You must have completed an appropriate vocational qualification at Level 1. You should have a genuine interest in this subject. You will need to have achieved a grade 4 in GCSE English or maths, but you'll need to achieve both by the end of this course.
Assessment consists of completing a practical workshop assessment and online examination. You are expected to participate in mandatory work experience placements and activities. Upon completion, you can progress to further study Level 3 or be well prepared for an apprenticeship or employment within the plumbing industry.
