Course summary

This course is designed to: Build on existing practical skills and learn new techniques and processes, working from students’ own strengths and interests Develop meaningful personal responses to ideas, observations, experiences, environments and cultures Encourage high levels of discipline, independence, academic rigour and creative expression Students should be committed to the subject and happy to be both supported and challenged in a creative environment. Drawing is an important component of the course; however, you will also be encouraged to consider a variety of media and approaches, such as photography, sculpture, painting, printmaking, mixed media, and even installation work.
