There is no set syllabus for this examination. It will consist of a passage to test comprehension and deduction, followed by an open-ended question that enables candidates to draw on any political knowledge they have.
Both internal and external pupils wishing to enter the sixth form will be expected to have met the same minimum academic entry requirements for the sixth form. These are a minimum of 5 Grade 5/Bs, or equivalent, in GCSEs/BTECs/Diplomas in 5 separate subjects (not including Citizenship).
