The entrance examination for Philosophy will not require any specialist knowledge. We will be testing the ability to think logically and to write clearly, as well as the ability to explain ideas and arguments fully.
Both internal and external pupils wishing to enter the sixth form will be expected to have met the same minimum academic entry requirements for the sixth form. These are a minimum of 5 Grade 5/Bs, or equivalent, in GCSEs/BTECs/Diplomas in 5 separate subjects (not including Citizenship).
