Students gain an exciting insight into the contemporary world of Biology. The course is academically demanding and covers key concepts of biological science and practical skills are integrated throughout the course. At St. Dunstan's we aim to make you a skilled biologist who can apply their knowledge to practical work in our state-of-the art labs in our STEM Building. Entry requirements

Entry requirements for the Sixth Form are currently set at an average of grade 6 or above across all the subjects studied at GCSE with 9-7 (A*/A equivalent) grades in the subjects appropriate to the student’s choice of A Levels. GCSE/IGCSE Grade 8 or above in Biology, or 8,8 in Double Science, and a 7 or above in Mathematics. There is an ongoing and considerable need to use mathematics in A A-level biology and students must be confident they will be able to manage this requirement. 20% of the marks across the three A Level papers are awarded for mathematical skills.
