This course is a sound and beneficial introduction to the Hospitality & Catering world as a career choice. These include patisserie, baking, chocolate work, fish, shellfish, meat, game, poultry, sauces, soups, and fruit and vegetables You will also cover menu planning and design, food safety, and health and safety We aim for all our learners to take part in valuable industry work experience which plays a vital role in preparing you for your career as a chef You will be preparing and serving food for paying customers in our student café, giving you immediate experience in the hospitality industry

Entry requirements

4 GCSE grades 9-4, including English or Maths or Level 2 in Catering or related qualifications

This course is 100% portfolio-based at Levels 1, 2, and 3, internally assessed.
