

What Will I Study? • Programming – you’ll design algorithms and write code (Python, Java or similar). • Computer Systems – explore hardware, software, data representation and networking. • Algorithms & Computation – tackle problem-solving, logical thinking and efficiency. • Data & Databases – work with SQL, data structures and big data management. • Cyber Security & Ethics – learn about digital threats, online privacy and ethical use of technology.
Minimum: five GCSEs at grade 9–5 including a grade 6 in Maths and a grade 5 in English. Prior experience in coding is helpful but not required.
Year 1: school‑based assignments and mock exams to help with UCAS predictions. Year 2: assessed via two written papers and one significant non‑exam project (programming task), all depending on your final exam board.
