A Level Film Studies offers an exciting and enriching journey into cinema, exploring diverse genres, styles, and global movements. Film Studies combines creativity with analytical rigour. The aims of the course are to encourage interest in how film works not just as an aesthetic medium, but also as a medium of representation. Those who study it characteristically bring with them a high degree of enthusiasm for what is a powerful and culturally significant medium, inspiring a range of responses from the emotional to the reflective.
