There will be six units of work to complete that will be assessed either internally or externally over two years. The units will provide students with a brilliant foundation into the work of work within the health and social care sector. A Lot of the content will be applicable to many different jobs dealing with people. The course will consist of the following: F090 Principles of health and social care – External Examination F091 Anatomy and physiology for health and social care – External Examination F092 Person-centred approach to care – NEA F093 Supporting people with mental health conditions – NEA F096 Supporting people in relation to sexual health, pregnancy and postnatal health F097 Supporting healthy nutrition and lifestyles - NEA
Minimum entry requirements which are 5 Grade 4 or above with a minimum of a Grade 4 in Maths or English and a Grade 3 in the other
