A Level Media Studies

Course summary

Media Studies is for students who are creative, imaginative and enjoy exploring / creating media products but also are analytical, critical and enjoy debates and discussions. Thirty percentage of the lessons are practical-based but you will also be required to write essays and manage budgets for your own production projects. Essays generally explore issues and debates around identity, culture, representation, textual analysis, media regulation, narrative and genre, across a range of media including TV, print, video games, music videos and radio.
