A Level History

Course summary

Our A-Level History courses have been designed to help students understand the significance of historical events, the role of individuals in history and the nature of change over time. History teaches us to ask two very important questions: why and how. This is key to sharpening your critical thinking abilities, which combine analysis, research, essay writing and communication skills to help you to solve problems and form arguments for debate. A natural interest in history and in particular, the key topics covered of The British Empire, China and the United States, is important.
