Sport - Level 3 with the Lincoln City Sports College

Course summary

We offer two distinct pathways for students who study with us. We are delighted to work in partnership with Lincoln City Foundation to offer a Level 2 and a Level 3 Sport pathway, delivered at the LNER Stadium, and at Priory Lincoln Academy. Students will be able to express a preference for either course. BTEC Sport provides the perfect balance between theory and practice. The course allows you to experience a variety of roles in a wide range of sports and activities. The course is broken down into a series of distinct units covering a range of areas of sport and physical activity. Students will study a range of units including Sports Analysis, Anatomy and Physiology, Sports Leadership, Coaching for Performance and Sports Event Management. This course also allows preparation for elite sports performance for those who are working towards an apprenticeship in this area, preparing learners with the knowledge and understanding related to elite performance or similar careers.
