Course summary
Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and behaviour, it is a multi-layered discipline and includes many sub-fields of study such areas as human development, health, clinical, social behaviour and cognitive processes. You will discover a key topic of research and learn about important studies related to that topic, and find out how research is conducted in that area. You will learn to use statistical tests to help interpret data. You will have an opportunity to study some uses of psychology in the real world, such as gender and social influences.
