Applied Science is an excellent course for those who wish to pursue a career in a variety of scientific fields including Biomedical Science. The course covers Biology, Chemistry, Physics and some Mathematics, with an additional unit in the field of Biology. This course is designed for students who wish to progress to university or alternatively seek an apprenticeship or go directly into employment. The BTEC Applied Science course is equivalent to one A-level and is designed to be studied over two years.
