
The emphasis of the course is to place a renewed understanding and application of the iterative design processes. Students will use their creativity and imagination to design and make prototypes that solve real and relevant problems, considering their own and others’ needs, wants and values. You will learn the fundamentals of the subject and develop the key knowledge, skills and experience needed for further study or an Apprenticeship.
Grade 6 in GCSE Technology option
The non-exam assessment (NEA) is worth 50% of the course. There are two externally set and assessed exams for A Level Product Design, which make up the remaining 50%.
