These projects will be portfolio based providing students with a portfolio of work including sketchbooks, presentation boards, three dimensional prototypes and a final piece for each project. A practical exam will be taken at the end of Year 13; the topic will be set by the examination board. Students are able to use equipment and resources from the other VA & DT disciplines such as photography, graphics and textiles.
At least 5 level 9-4 grades at GCSE including level 4 in Design and Technology, Art or Photography. In some level 4 cases, work may be reviewed by the staff for suitability to the A-Level course.
