This is a one year course where students continue to work on the National Curriculum Attainment Targets: Geometry & Measure, Number, Ratio, Proportion and Rates of Change, Algebra and Statistics & Probability. Most lessons are teacher led, although there are plenty of opportunities for independent and group work. In order to improve a GCSE grade, students are expected to demonstrate a high level of commitment, including at least three hours homework per week.
