Course summary

Health and Social Care is much needed in the UK and the NHS is Europe’s biggest employer. A qualification in Health and Social Care will allow you access to these employment opportunities. You will explore growth and development across the lifespan looking at factors that impact our growth and development before and after birth. You will explore the influence of drugs, housing and employment on human development as well as learning about the NHS, its structures and different professionals and their roles within the NHS.
