
The A-Level Drama and Theatre studies Course offers students with the opportunity to explore the world of theatre as a performer, academic and theatre critic. Students will explore set texts from across the different historical periods, as well as studying the work of theatre practitioners. There will be the opportunity to go on two theatre trips, with the aim to widen each students’ experience of live performance theatre and offer an insight into the extensive styles of theatre available. The course will cover working as a performer, writer and performance theorist. Students study three components, each designed to develop holistic Drama skills.
5 x GCSEs at Grade 5 or above, plus a Grade 6 in GCSE DRAMA
