Philosophy considers the different attempts made over thousands of years to approach the ‘big’ questions about the human species and the world. These questions range from asking what happens when we die and whether we are truly free to make real choices in our lives to considering whether there is a difference between what we think we know and what is true in reality. Ethics investigates fundamental questions about the way we choose to live our lives. We will consider whether there are certain things that are absolutely right and absolutely wrong, whether we should act according to duty, in our own interests or according to the benefit to society.
5 x GCSEs at Grade 5 or above, plus a Grade 6 in GCSE RELIGIOUS STUDIES
