It is the story of humankind; the famous and the unknown; of remarkable events; of great men and women; it is our story. History offers the opportunity to acquire and improve on a number of skills and qualities that are highly regarded by universities and employers. Through studying history you will learn how to: Select and organise information Analyse evidence and evaluate differing interpretations Assess the significance of events, individuals, attitudes and beliefs Construct coherent and well-reasoned arguments in a verbal and written format
