
Geography A Level provides students with the opportunity to establish an in-depth understanding of physical, human and environmental geography. Fieldwork is an integral part of the course and students undertake 4 days of fieldwork over the two years. In 2015, the Guardian newspaper identified geography as “the must have A Level.” This course will appeal to those students who: Want to study a subject that focuses on 21st Century issues such as increasing global problems that affect our environment. Enjoy studying a subject that is relevant to their own lives and experiences. Want an opportunity to carry out practical work outdoors as well as class-work.
5 x GCSEs at Grade 5 or above, this must include GCSE MATHS, plus a Grade 6 in GCSE GEOGRAPHY
