A Level - Business

Course summary

Over the two years this course helps you develop the skills needed to develop new business ideas, by examining how new and existing firms test ideas through market research. As well as marketing, you will consider the other aspects of managing the business, including learning a range of management tools to help you track your finances and make the most of your employees. In addition, you will investigate the issues considered by companies who trade internationally. You will also use data to assess the performance of a business and, with a pre-released theme, make decisions in the exam to help businesses become more competitive. Many of our students who study Business and /or Economics go on to study Economics, Business, Law, Accountancy and Human Resource Management.
