Lenin -Stalin -Khrushchev - how and why did these Communist leaders differ? Who was Thatcher and why does she still divide the nation? Did she save the British economy in the 80’s? How and why did Britain join the EU? How far was there a great social transformation in the swinging 60’s? These are all questions you will be able to answer after studying A Level History—a challenging course that will get you asking the big questions about politics, the modern world and Britain’s role in it. Course Content Component 1 - Tsarist and Communist Russia (1855-1964). Component 2 - Making of Modern Britain (1955-2007). Component 3 - NEA (coursework).
