Scott Fitzgerald The study of English Literature at A Level naturally leads on from GCSE English. Studying English Literature will encourage the development of your interest and enjoyment of reading widely and learning to critically analyse as you read. As you progress through the course you will hopefully become a confident reader of a range of texts and your skills of response and analysis will improve. You will learn to use critical concepts and a wide range of new terminology. You will also be encouraged to work independently, deciding on your own interpretations of the texts that you read.
