Students will learn about a selection of major ways of understanding human behaviour. They will discover a key topic of research; learn about important studies related to that topic, and find out how research is conducted in that area. Students will learn to use statistical tests to help interpret data and they will have an opportunity to study some uses of psychology in the real world. Eleven different units across three A level exam papers. Includes topics such as social Influence, memory, attachment, clinical psychology and mental health, alongside research methods and mathematical and scientific skills.
Grade 6 or higher in GCSE humanities or grade 6 in GCSE English language plus 2 GCSE science grades 5 or higher.
Written examinations including multiple choice, short answers questions and short essay.
