A Level Physics

Course summary

The Physics course allows students to develop an understanding of the world around us from the smallest components of atoms to the vastness of space. Physics is a demanding fundamental science which requires students to have the imagination to cope with what we cannot see. A physics education equips a person to work in many different and interesting places – from any discipline of Engineering and many courses in fields such as Medicine, to a career in Government, and even Banking – places where problem-solving abilities and analytical skills are great assets. We strongly advise that you take A level Mathematics alongside your studies in Physics. This is essential if you wish to study Physics or Engineering at university.
