The course is split into three parts: 1. Physical Geography (40 per cent) Water and carbon cycles Hot desert systems and landscapes Hazards (earthquakes, volcanoes, storms, fires) 2. Human Geography (40 per cent) Global systems and global governance Changing places Population and the environment 3. Geography fieldwork investigation (20 per cent) Four days of fieldwork Data collection Data analysis Presentation of findings and conclusions
