Course summary

This course is equivalent to 1 A Level. The BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate in Business provides an excellent foundation to learn about how business works. It includes a programme of speakers, activities and opportunities which will allow you to experience the real business world. This course will give you an introduction into how business works through the following units: 1. Exploring Business (coursework unit) 2. Developing a Marketing Campaign (externally assessed unit) 3. Personal and business finance (externally assessed unit) 4. Recruitment and Selection (coursework unit) This course is sound preparation for Higher Education, if at least a Merit is achieved. It is also an excellent basis for modern apprenticeships, employment or to start your own business.
