Core Maths
Course summary
Core Maths is a Level 3 qualification, taken alongside your other three subjects. The course is aimed at students who would benefit from studying Maths beyond GCSE but who haven’t chosen to study A Level in Maths. The qualification is equivalent to an AS Level and is graded A-E. Core Maths is taken in Year 12 only and is assessed with two 90 minute written exams.
