Course summary

Studying music at Shireland Sixth Form gives students access to exceptional facilities and teachers who have first-hand experience of the music industry. This vocational course has been specifically designed to prepare students for a successful career in the music industry, whether on stage or behind-the-scenes. Students will not only develop their practical music skills, but will also develop a variety of hugely important personal skills, such as confidence, resilience, and teamwork. Units include 'Rehearsal and Performance Skills', 'Careers in Music', 'Instrumental Study', 'Music Event Management', and 'Auditioning for Music'.
