Why English Literature This course is for students who enjoy reading and wish to develop critical reading skills and the analysis and evaluation of a wide range of literary texts. Course content AS English Literature - Students will study towards two exams at the end of the academic year. They will study four texts in total. A2 English Literature - This course is designed to build on the skills learned in the AS qualification. Students will study towards two exams at the end of the academic year and complete two essays to complete the non-exam component. They will study eight texts in total.
