Health and Social Care

Course summary

Health and Social Care is always going to be essential in society. This is a vocational Level 3 course which provides a broad understanding of health, social care and early years’ services. You will learn about a number of diverse issues including human growth and development, human rights, equality and diversity and human behaviour. You will apply your knowledge in realistic and practical ways, including local case studies and small research projects. This BTEC Level 3 qualification is equivalent in size to one A level. This BTEC course would be a natural compliment for the BTEC Level 3 Early Childhood Development Extended Certificate Course.
