A Level Spanish builds on and extends GCSE knowledge and skills, allowing students to talk about a range of complex topics in the target language. Some of these topics include Spanish regional identity, monarchy, dictatorship and cultural heritage. A Level Spanish includes studies of literary texts and films, which will be analysed in depth in the written exam. For the speaking exam, there is the opportunity to research and present on a topic of your choice.
