
You will develop an understanding of Computer Science principles and theory, ranging from how the various different parts of a PC work, how networks function, cyber security fundamentals, to understanding computational thinking principles, and applying this through coursework and examinations. We use LUA and the Defold Engine to create programs that will form the coursework for the course. You will need to be able to work independently, think logically and critically, and you will need to have experience in programming in Python or another high-level language.
Minimum 6 GCSEs at Grade 5 and above to include a minimum of Grade 4 in Maths GCSE or English (Language or Literature) GCSE Plus Grade 5 in GCSE Computer Science or Grade 6 in GCSE Maths and coding experience.
