
You will improve your performance skills, study a range of drama forms and discuss texts critically and analytically. You will be expected to attend the theatre frequently. There are three components all of which have a written element: - the reinterpretation of a text using the ideas of a key practitioner or theatre company to include a log detailing decisions made - a devised piece based on a stimulus using the ideas of a different practitioner or theatre company, plus a scripted performance and a portfolio of written evidence - a written exam in Year 13 based on three set texts, part of which requires you to analyse live theatre.
Minimum 6 GCSEs at Grade 5 and above to include a minimum of Grade 4 in Maths GCSE or English (Language or Literature) GCSE Plus Grade 5 in GCSE English Language. Grade 4 in GCSE Drama (if taken)
