You will learn about the practices organisations are adopting to become more sustainable, and the technologies that are being used. You will also learn research methodologies and how to analyse data and draw conclusions. You will use this knowledge and understanding to investigate a real organisation’s practices and recommend how they can become more sustainable. Input from stakeholders such as the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and leading universities Cardiff, York, Bournemouth and Edge Hill ensures this qualification covers the fundamental aspects of sustainability and encourages you to find positive solutions to pressing sustainability challenges faced by governments, organisations and individuals. Sustainability and climate change are important to think about, along with helping young people deal with eco-anxiety, showing them positive ways to handle these big challenges. The current curriculum might not be green enough now, but we can help make it greener in a way that’s easy to manage.
