Year 1 – Social Issues & Artistic Culture Social Issues & Trends: Family dynamics, evolving values, cyberspace, social media, gender equality, LGBTQ+ rights Artistic Culture: Modern idols (singers, actors, models), Spain’s regional identities (traditions, gastronomy, languages), and cultural heritage (architecture, the arts of pre-Hispanic civilizations Year 2 – Multiculturalism & Political Life Multiculturalism: Immigration, racism, and social integration within Hispanic societies Political & Artistic Culture: Youth engagement in politics, unemployment, ideal societies Monarchies & dictatorships, spanning Franco’s Spain and Latin American regimes Popular movements—strikes, protests, union influence (e.g. 15‑M, Madres de Plaza de Mayo
