
You will develop a deeper understanding of the Italian language in a variety of contexts relevant to contemporary society. You will extend your knowledge of the cultural background and history of Italy and countries or communities where Italian is spoken. You will be able to research a subject which interests you and present it in the oral exam. Literature, elements of History and Film also play a relevant part in the course giving you the opportunity to develop further listening, speaking, writing and reading skills.
Minimum 6 GCSEs at Grade 5 and above and a minimum of Grade 4 in Maths GCSE or English (Language or Literature) GCSE Plus Italian GCSE at Grade 7 or above or equivalent knowledge
