BTEC Performing Arts

Course summary

You'll get extensive hands-on experience in acting, dance (if chosen), singing, and musical theatre in a professional-style setting. The course covers various genres of performance, rehearsal techniques, character development, and the business side of the performing arts. You'll work collaboratively within a creative team, learning to communicate effectively and work towards a shared goal. Performing in front of live audiences and engaging in group work helps you build self-confidence and express yourself effectively along with collaboration skills.  You'll learn to create a professional portfolio and get practical experience.
