GENERIC A LEVEL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: 5 GCSE'S 4-9, including English Language SUBJECT SPECIFIC ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: : Grade 6-6 in Combined Science, or in Triple Science: grade 6 in Biology, grade 5 in Chemistry and Physics (must be higher tier). Grade 6 in Maths also required. Students intending to study Biology must select the appropriate course according to their academic pathway. IB Pathway: Candidates undertaking the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, or a combination of IB subjects and a vocational qualification, are required to take IB Biology. A Level Pathway: A Level Biology is available exclusively to students enrolled on the full A Level pathway. It is not offered in combination with IB subjects or vocational programmes.
AS Level: 2 x 90 minutes exams. A Level: 3 x 120 minute exams.
