Further Mathematics can only be taken in addition to normal Mathematics, not instead of it. Students will be admitted to Further Mathematics, in the first instance to the AS course. At the end of the L6th, most students will then take A2 Further Mathematics (200 hours), with some staying on AS Further Mathematics (100 hours). Final decisions will be made with the input of student, parents and the school, with the Headmaster having the final say.
