SL Vocational Qualifications have been specifically designed to allow each delivery centre to build qualifications that meet the aspirations of each individual student, putting them in the best position to meet the demands of today’s creative industries. With flexibility of choice and multi-discipline learning at their core, RSL VQ's are the most relevant, accessible and practical qualifications on the market. The course is called the Subsidiary Diploma for Music Practitioners course and is worth the equivalent of 1.5 A-Levels.
We tailor the course to suit the needs and interests of the students. With multiple units available, we can create a bespoke curriculum that will allow students to develop skills in the areas of music that they are interested in the most. Students will study 2 compulsory units as well as taking an additional 4 optional units (from an extensive list, some examples are below): Compulsory units: Rehearsal Skills & Live Music Performance Planning for a Career in Music Example optional units: Composing Music Session Musician Contextualising music Music Rehearsal
