UFCA (Football Scholarship Programme)

Course summary

A study programme for male and female students who wish to train, play and immerse themselves in a professional football environment whilst studying towards their A-Levels. This programme involves professional training sessions 6 hours a week as part of the school timetable, in addition to studying towards 3 Level 3 qualifications offered by Ralph Thoresby School. Successfully selected students will also be picked for match-day squads on Wednesday afternoons, with some additional fixtures in regional and national football competitions. The level of training and facilities is to a semi-professional standard, and whilst the programme can’t make any guarantees of professional footballing contracts, students are in the best position to be potentially spotted whilst continuing realistic and achievable academic goals.
