Physics stands at the forefront and cutting edge of science, attempting to discover answers to some of life’s biggest questions, such as, what is matter made from? And what is the nature of the universe? Physics is also at the heart of engineering, underpinning our future technological development, with applications ranging from spacecraft design, motor sport, renewable energy infrastructures, robotics, and civil engineering. A Level Physics will build on your GCSE Physics knowledge, developing your understanding to be able to explore fundamental Physics topics and how everything in the world around you involves Physics. CAREERS Students who have studied this course have gone on to study Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, Physics with Theoretical Physics, Astrophysics and Astronomy, Mathematical Physics, Architecture, Aerospace Engineering, Natural Sciences, Geophysics and Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
