Course summary

The BTEC Business course will allow you to really dive into the ‘real-world’ of business. You will have to research businesses of your choice to better understand how they make decisions and achieve success. You will have to critically assess how businesses could improve or amend their strategy. The course provides transferable knowledge and skills that prepare learners for progression to university such as: the ability to learn independently, the ability to research actively and methodically, being able to give presentations and being active group members. BTEC Nationals provide a vocational context in which learners can develop the knowledge and skills required for future learning. These skills include effective writing, analytical skills, creative development preparation for assessment methods used in degrees.
