
WHY THIS COURSE: The Extended Certificate is for learners who are interested in learning about enterprise and entrepreneurship alongside other fields of study, with a view to progressing to a wide range of higher education courses, not necessarily in enterprise-related subjects. It is designed to be taken as part of a programme of study that includes other appropriate BTEC Nationals or A Levels. STUDENT PROFILE: The course is for post-16 learners who want to continue their education through applied learning and who aim to progress to higher education and ultimately to employment, in the enterprise sector. The qualification is equivalent in size to one A Level and aims to provide a coherent introduction to study of the enterprise sector.
