Course summary

The Early Childhood Development course involves studying various aspects of education and early years, including mandatory and optional units. It is equivalent to one A-Level and is designed to be taken alongside other A-Levels or AAQs as part of a study programme. Students will study topics such as child development, safeguarding, play and learning and reflective practice. Assessments will include case studies, scenario-based tasks, essays and practical reflections allowing students to demonstrate their understanding and skills in real-world contexts.
