Course summary

Students interested in the sports and exercise industry should look no further than this course. It will provide the knowledge, skills and understanding of how to go far in the sports industry. The course has been designed for students who have a real interest in the theoretical and practical aspects of anatomy and physiology, physical and psychological sports performance, coaching and fitness. It will give the opportunity to develop your knowledge and investigate a wide range of sport, exercise and coaching aspects. ARE YOU INTERESTED IN: Sport in all its facets? The role of sport in the community? The leisure and fitness industry? LEADING TO FUTURES IN: This course is aimed at students who have a passion for sport and are looking to follow a career in sports performance, nutrition, coaching/teaching, officiating, journalism, sports psychology or sports medicine. This course can lead on to a range of sports related jobs direct from school, but can also earn UCAS points allowing students to continue their studies at university.
