Physics is the study of the physical world, covering all things - from the subatomic to the entire universe. In A Level Physics, we will cover this full breadth, building upon the fundamental knowledge and skills established in GCSE. Problem-solving and mathematical analysis are key skills that will be honed throughout the course. This is a concept-driven course that allows us to explore physics concepts in real-world situations and various career areas, such as engineering and medicine.
Grade 6 in GCSE Science or Physics All A Levels require a grade 4 in English and Maths
The A Level is assessed after two years with three written exams lasting 2 hours each and each exam carries equal weighting. There is no coursework within this A Level.
